In celebration of Canada’s 150th birthday, I was fortunate to visit my hometown of Sudbury, Ontario. This series of photos captures the essence of my memories of this northern city – a town rich in history, diverse in population and renowned around the globe for its mines and advances in geologic studies.
My song is Chandelier by Sia. My photographer is Robert Polidori. The song conjures images in my mind of strength amidst despair and entrapment and I feel Polidori embodies this, especially in his Havana collection of bold/colourful, strong compositions. I tried to capture this in my own work.
