The Art of Pizzelle
The presented series comes from the basic premise of demonstrating the baking process. In this process, I specifically aim to present the gathering of ingredients to creating the tasty cookie treat known as the Pizzelle. The Pizzelle cookie will traditionally have an elaborate print that makes it rather distinct by physical appearance with a golden tone.
To emphasize the process, I have chosen to demonstrate the series through the use of dark and moody contrasts with natural lighting. In choosing the moody contrast tones, it presents a textured view of the isolated ingredients and final product. The outcome of the photographs are enhanced with a rustic feel and texture to demonstrate a visual appeal of how lifelike the items are through the use of an image.
