My intent for this project was to find beauty in things that would not normally be considered beautiful or aesthetically pleasing to the naked eye. Most of the subjects are common garden weed growing in my yard. My work was inspired by many macro photography artists and various tools and techniques used in macro photography and its ability to produce eye catching textures and details we do not normally take the time to observe and appreciate.
